Building Bridges Summer 2019 Service Trip
This summer, Yale Building Bridges has formed a long-term partnership with Xupu No.1 Middle School (溆浦县第一中学), where we taught this year and will continue teaching for years after. We are also partnering with the Aixin Foundation, Wispring Foundation, and PEER to take a group of students from top American and Chinese universities to Xupu, Hunan Province, China to teach to middle/high schoolers mental health and gender education curriculum, through cultural diversity. This year's trip will also feature a new community exploration project component. You will be joined by volunteer partners from prestigious Chinese Universities such as Peking University, Hong Kong University, and Shanghai Jiao tong University. This is an unparalleled opportunity to make life-long cross-cultural connections and to learn about the rural side of China that many tourists do not get to see.

Attention Harvard Beijing Academy Students!
Our Summer Break trip is an extremely convenient and inexpensive opportunity for those of you already planning to be in China with Harvard Beijing Academy. HBA ends right before the BB summer trip begins so you'll be able to easily transition into the trip. This trip is a great opportunity for you to experience how the rural parts of China differ from the urban as well as to apply your newly found Mandarin language skills while giving back to the community.
