Building Bridges Embarks on Partnership with Yale-China
Building Bridges recently reached out to Yale-China about establishing a closer relationship between the two organizations in order to better pursue our shared social goals of education in China and cross-cultural exchange. Having established a strong foundation of three years of cooperation on Reach Out trips, Building Bridges hopes to formally solidify our connection with Yale-China so that both organizations can aid each other in expanding our programs. January 25, 2012: Photo Exhibition
On Wednesday, January 25th, Building Bridges held its annual photo exhibition and reception in Morse's Art Gallery. As before, the exhibit featured photos from previous years' trips and served to spread awareness about the conditions of schools in rural China and the work that our organization does. Chinese dim sum and Lunar New Year treats were also at the reception.
December 3, 2010: Photo Exhibition
On Friday, December 3rd, Building Bridges held an exhibition in Silliman's Maya Room featuring photos from previous years' China trips. The purpose of the event was not only to showcase these remarkable experiences but also to spread awareness about the organization's work to the Yale community. Over fifty people attended the reception, which also boasted homemade Chinese desserts such as "panda" baozi, "panda" pound cakes, egg custards, and Chinese fruit kabobs.
